The next meeting of the Perth Cichlid Society on Tuesday, September 2nd will be an address by

Dr Richmond Loh, also known as the Fish Vet.

Dr Richmond Loh is a registered veterinarian with post-graduate qualifications in aquatic animal health and diseases. Armed with his knowledge, skills and extensive experience, Dr Loh provides professional veterinary services to pet fish owners, public aquaria, ornamental fish industry, aquaculturists and educational institutions.  He regularly gives talks to industry and hobby related fish groups.

His speaking topics of the evening include discus plague ( may not be what you think), the correct use of antibiotics, common clinical signs of diseased fishes and what they mean. He will also be taking questions from the audience, so you can get your question answered by a real expert.

For those interested in the health and well-being of their fish, this is a talk not to be missed.

In addition to which we also have:

  • Androo's mystery BBQ! Real coffee and  cool drinks also available
  • The PCS library, with with hundreds of books and magazines available for loan to members
  • The cichlid and catfish PCS show table, where you can participate and/or view some of the prized fish of fellow members. Every entrant wins a prize!
  • Some cool PCS merchandise items up for sale
  • The sponsors raffle table, where you can win some fantastic prizes!

All welcome. Hope to see you all there – doors open 7:30pm & meeting starts 8pm May 6th Rotary Hall Sandgate St South Perth.
