Thanks all. The 10000k arrived today. Im pretty happy with it.
Not sure why my camera shows it with a blue hue but its pretty white.

So those of you who know me, know that last weekend I set up my 4ft aquarium. Since then i bought an ottoman to pop infront of my tank (yes, i am easily amused)
Here are some of the pics i captured this morning at feeding time.
Today menu was veggie wafers and a few peas.
It seems a few took the wafers and hid them in the caves, and my other fish were practically playing hide and seek.
The lombardoi male chased my yellow down to the other end (theres always one party pooper), but my yellows then ganged up and chased him back - lol!

Well guys the cloudiness is starting to subside and my mbuna absolutely love the rocks. Am going to do a quick vacuum/ light water change tomorrow so hopefully this helps with cloudiness.

Hey ya'll!
Names Jess, I have been keeping fish for 10 years (since I was 13). Come to think of it I have had the same tank for 10 years now and I actually replaced my filter last year as it finally died after 9 years.. I should be a spokes person for AquaOne!
Anyway what got me into fish? Well, my parents originally bought the 90L for themselves and had a few juvy malawi cichlids. They grew quick and my parents upgraded to a 500L aquarium.
My Dads mate actually had his own fish room in his shed which was AMAZEBALLS! and from that point in my life onwards i just prefered fish over domesticated pets.
My 300L comes tomorrow night in which I will be using my bacteria from my current filter (hoorah for not having to wait for it to cycle).. but i will be waiting a week just to make sure all parameters are okay.
Im having a sand substrate (bought playsand as i could not chase pool sand) and will have some limestone at one end of the tank.
Im actually looking for more inspiration similar to these images if anyone has anything to share
Oh PS. This WAS my 90L before i emptied it today. My angels are 5 years old
And my other hobby is taxidermying butterflies/ bugs! Peace ✌
