Fish Art

Not a lot of people will know but Wendy (Fischie) is actually an artist with some impressive achievements - selling a heap of art previously and holding exhibitions etc. It's been some time since she's done anything but lately she's picked up her tools and drawing inspiration from my fish collection and books.
At the moment she's drawing a portrait of Xenotilapia. She won't let me show it yet but when it's done we are thinking of auctioning it for Stuart Grant if there's any interest.
We've also been spring cleaning over the long weekend and I stumbled across one of Wendy's old sculptures. I figured it would make a great sign for my fish shed so spent some time yesterday fixing it to the door. What do you reckon?
Edit - stupid forum - I don't know how to make the pic not go sideways

That's pretty cool. It's fish related, so well worth bringing to the auction.
I like fish art. Kinda reminds me of the thread where someone was doing fish sketches: http://www.perthcich...54449&hl=sketch

Well first go and I think Wendy is doing a great job. Finished product will be revealed at the November auction where it will be auctioned off and 100%of proceeds going towards Stuart Grant fund.
I hope others like it as it will help me convince her to do more

Soooooo a blue motorbike as well?
Fantastic work Brett, Tell her she is an amazing artist and should defiantly do some more interesting species from Malawi
Sure might as well add that to a few monitor lizards, snakes, birds and flowers
Of course a few American and Lake Malawi Cichlids and Rainbowfish.
