Basswood?

Does anyone know where I can buy basswood I want to make my own wood airstones.

Also has anyone tried balsawood would this work or not.

I haven't tried either but I can't seem to find any info that confirms whether or not balsa wood is safe in an aquarium.. One thing I know for certain is that the bulsa will more than likely float.

Good luck, I am interested to see what the outcome is.

i thought balsa wood is the same as bulsa wood

well i think I can safely say the balsawood does not work the bubbles dont seem to be small enough, so where do i buy basswood or lime wood
