If your LFS said they were illegal please do not ask for them here. We do not allow dealing in illegal fish.

Spiney eels aren't illegal, but it is simply not viable to import them any more as now they must be professionally identified on arrival at the importers cost.
We have a few that were traded in by a customer at the shop now, ~15cm long for $40.00ea. They are the first ones I've seen for a while and I don't expect to see them again any time soon.

Cheers
Pacco

If you're after something urgently it's probably better to just call them. Phone number is in the signature smile.gif
