Picked up a nice 4x2x2.5 last Friday. Always wanted a Angelfish tank and this tank was perfect for it. I use pool filter sand as the substrate (dont need to wash it at all) and also use the driftwoods from my other tanks with plants attached to them already.

So far i have a breeding colony for L201, 2x L134 (thanks Chen) and 11 Saphire Blue Angels from Avid Aquaria (cheers Steve) in the tank. Might get some more angels and L134 later. I am using Eheim 2073 and Eheim 2080 as filtration.

Some pics of the tank,

this tank is amazing. cant wait to see it all grown in, i like how you showed your filling technique,

your livestock choice is stunning, the sand compliments them really well.... and the depth of the tank will allow for some really tall growth

exciting stuff :)

LOL true that. I am actually happy where it is now. Plants get some light during day time from the back and the side.

Thanks guys. Matty, i go it from pool shop. Its pool filter sand. Dont need to wash it and doesnt make the water cloudy. I paid $26 for a bag and for 4x2x2 1 bag is enough. I got a spare unopen bag, you can have it for $20 if you want.
