I was lucky enough to score these, only 4 came in so hopefully there are both sexes amongst them. Still only small so it will be awhile, on a side note there cousin Enantiopus melanogenys have been pumping them out. Just released 4 back into the colony, released 16 out of the fry saver and just stripped another 2 mouthfuls 36 from the two. Fingers crossed i can raise some larger numbers.

That's a good way to tell if your not sure, feed them if she refuses to eat then it's 99.9% certain that she is holding.

Perhaps Dicky can give us some test result findings from before up until now ( 8 months later). Instead of all this guessing as i too am curious. It does sound a bit to good to be true but in this game your never to old to learn something new.

How long has it been set up?  Is the foam base made up of different pieces? Did you check the floor for level and then the stand before putting the tank on? These days i use a rubber mat about 10mm thick, cut to size . You can get them from Clark Rubber in one piece, the reason being i've had mice burrow through the foam base before ( tanks were in shed).

It's cheap and nasty, what do you expect quality. Probably from China, throw it away, count your lucky stars and buy something decent.

Yes there is no need to switch of the UV and take out the carbon when medicating with food. It's the best way to medicate imo.
