Hey guys has anyone here gotten their car scrapped or know a place where I can get my car scrapped and not get ripped off by punters ? Looking to get it scrapped pretty soon as Im getting a new car today and don't want too many cars at my house as there will be 5 cars here when I get my new one. Some places are jokes one company even offered me $150... Car that I want scrapping is a 1992 Holden Jackaroo everything with the car is alright except the engine and got quoted almost what I paid for the car to get the engine replaced including labour

I got $80 for a Mercedes the other day, found it in the bush so couldn't argue with the price.

Might just rip off parts that might be good to someone else and then scrap it. The wheels and rims are in alright condition and the bull bar is only a year old. Would probably get more for the bull bar on gumtree than what most wreckers are offerering for the whole car haha
