One of the Syno's that can get a decent size, and can also be agro towards each other and smaller fish.
They get a beautiful dorsal fin and great looking barbels.
There is also one that is similar called Synodontis eupterus 'Zebra' that has a few stripes through the body.
They arent fussed about water parameters.
I have seen them in pH - 7 and also in Malawi Cichlid tank with a pH - 8+
They make a great addition to a display tank, they will hide for most of the day and start to become more active around dusk.
