When creating new forum accounts there's a 2-step verification process. Having a valid location (suburb etc) will speed up the approval process.

1. Email Verification - After creating your new login an email is sent to the email address you nominated. Within that email is a URL link that you need to click (sample below).

If a fake/dummy address is used you will never receive the verification email and hence won't move onto the next process. Unverified accounts get removed after 5-7 days.

Thank you for registering.
We require that you "validate" your registration to ensure that
the email address you entered was correct. This protects against
unwanted spam and malicious abuse.

To activate your account, simply click on the following link:

2. Admin Verification - Once you've verified your email address your account then remains in a queue to be verified by an Administrator. This is done in an attempt to prevent spammers. Pending accounts waiting in the queue are generally approved 2-3 times daily.
