yes absolutely brilliant presentation, it was really informative and i learnt a lot, it gave me a lot of inspiration for my tanks and filled in a few holes in my knowledge of planted tanks

Hi all.

I was planing on going to the meeting last night but came down with a cold so ended up just staying home watching the TDF.

Can you all fill me in on what was covered off last night.

Im planing a planted cichlid tank too, im breaking down my high tech 10 foot planted tank very slowly and converting it over.

My main concern is fertilising and lighting. I think i have everything else covered off but if you have anything you can tell me i will be truly grateful.

Thanks.

rovik might be able to provide his presentation from the PC but youd still be missing all the information he provided verbose

Yes  :goodjob:   I'd say it was one of the best talks yet, but that might give him a big head so i won't say that.  :welldone:  little whipper snapper and :ThanxSmiley:  for your effort.

Thanks Rovik

Awesome advice.

Now all I have to do is put the cichlids in.

Oh, and get some extra lighting (and probably CO2) for my planted tropical tank.

But my 3ft cichlid (for tropical) tank looks ready for the first EY's and a couple of Mpangas to move in.

A few guppy fry too hard to catch remain as "in tank entertainment" for the newcomers.
