Would this be ok to use as an alternative to Eheim lubricant spray? Is it safe for fish and plants? Has anyone use it before?

Thanks

What about if you're not lactose tolerant? Try soy based:

im also interested in this, id assume some kind of a food grade/aquaponics grade silicon lube would be required, we used to use a silicon lubricant on the boats up north for the internal rubber seal inbetween the removable cap and the fitting for the hose on the fire hydrants.

it would stop the rubber seals inside cracking from age/salt damage

a quick google search brought this up

Food grade silicon grease

From: $14

Haynes Silicone Grease is a food-grade grease that can be used on a variety of application in food and pharmaceutical plants where incidental food contact may occur. something like this is what i would imagine should be used in minor ammount on the O-Rings / seals every few months
