Hi everyone,

Time to send me some lots! :)

Just talked to a friend (who prefers to stay anonymous) who had decided to donate a young colony of 10 x Tropheus brichardi Canary cheek 3-4cm! It could almost be the 3rd fish of the month ! That's a pretty rare specie of tropheus, come ready to bid hard on these as it will also help the preservation of cichlids in Africa ;)

Stay tuned for the updated list!

Alright guys, list is up to date!!

A LOT of donations came in this past week, and i really really have to give a BIG  T HANK YOU to:

Kathy (humbug) and Andrew from Labyrinth aquarium... they are sending some fish over from Sydney for FREE just to support our Cichlid preservation fund!!!

Most of the donated cichlids come from them, but also thank you to brumball, thecheif, Terry, bigjohnnofish (yeah you read that right! :P ) and bonneyboi

Also, winners of the Photocomp and Aquascaping competition will be announced! :)

We have some very cool stuff this time and we hope to raise over 1k and hopefully beat last auction's record of $1021 raised for the fund!

There will also be some cans of Nutrafin cichlid pellets for sale, which $$$ will be fully donated to the fund! Thank you ANDREW for the kind donation!

Stay tuned for last updates!

. . . . and a BIG thank you from me to Andrew at Labyrinth, and Poncho, Mattia and Aquotix in WA (plus anyone else behind the scenes!), for making this folly possible. I'm sending fish from Adelaide to Perth . . . via Sydney    Andrew has put himself out to house them for a week at the shop en route.  They fly to Perth on Wednesday, and then have to be handled and housed by the guys at Aquotix until the auction.  The logistics of this is insane!!!!  Thank you all so much for making this possible.  Hopefully it raises something for the Stuart Grant fund, and helps to get some of these rarer fish established in the west.

Please, please, please, dig deep for a good cause, and show support for these guys who do so much to keep your Society going.  I'm betting a lot of you take the Society, and its tireless workers, for granted.  You don't know how lucky you are to live in a state with an active group such as this!!!!

The  breeding colony of petricola and the 3 juveniles have been withdrawn from the auction. The adults have sold and 2 of the juveniles were eaten by a driftwood catfish, I have replaced them in the auction with 2 bags of adult angels.

No other fish ear marked for the auction will be sold before hand, my apologies to anybody who was keen on bidding for them.

The Committee were notified on the 26th.

Cheers Terry

Is there a PDF list of Auction lots available for download? Or can someone from the committee make a few spare lists available (same as previous auctions)?

See you all tonight!
