As some of you know, I'm currently in the process of moving house/selling off all my FW fish. Wont be out of the hobby long, but have decided to join the dark side, marines. Just have the one large reef tank as a display and my 8x3 plumbed into my sump to increase system volume, and to keep a few fish that are not 'reef safe'.
Was just digging through some old pictures of my old 8' reef tank. tank was low tech without a sump, but still ended up looking relatively good. Was actually a good learning experience as I now realise a lot of things that I didn't like that need improving with my next tank.
Some past pics -
hammers
corallimorph (was a tiny little hitchhiker on some LR when first introduced)
elegance coral that hosted my clowns - these corals get a bad name, apparently quite hard to keep (especially overseas), I never had any issues, in fact the thing grew huge.
Jansens wrasse - terrible photo, one of the most amazing fish ever, just a big cruising thug, not really the sort of fish you should put in a reef, not unless you don't like your inverts.
Undulated moray ~4' long when I sold him/her
Group shot, love my tangs!

Can't wait to rinse myself of every last dollar and get back into it!
