Each month PCS will be holding a fish of the month. You can have a chance to own all of our monthly choices buy bidding on an auction that will be held at the monthly meeting.

Proceeds from the monthly auction of these fish will go to Stuart Grant Fund for Cichlid Preservation. Come and learn about a new cichlid each month and have the chance to own them every month.

Support the hobby and it's preservation. See you at the Monthly Meeting guys.

Fish of the Month for June is a trio of HEMITILAPIA OXYRHYNCHUS - "Giant Hap" and you can find out more here.

Great stuff Mike :)

Also if anyone is breeding some peculiar cichlids and wants to see that species as cichlid of the month (in order to foster some interest in fish you are breeding) then let us know. You'll need to donate some juvies for auction but we'll take care of the rest. I'll be donating some cool fish to next month's FotM but we'd like to make it open to all club members to showcase the cool fish we have here in Perth for new hobbyists. It would be great to be able to promote your fish.

Thanks to this months donater too :)

  • Fish of the Month for July is Neolamprologus multifasciatus. We will have two bags of N. Multifaciatus trios to discuss and auction off, with proceeds to Stuart Grant Fund for Cichlid Preservation. Learn about the fish and then take some home.
