My fav fish.
Feed it some crickets, they go mental for them.
Then sit there for an hour patrolling the tank looking for more.

Just got home from work and walked into about 15lts of tank water kindly removed from the tank by the beast! I've said it before but I'm gonna say it again....Such a powerful fish...

Gave him a bunch of fat crickets tonight! He ate the lot and still wants more!!

Nice. I had one about 10 years ago, he was ferocious, a true predator. On more than one occasion at feeding time he launched out of the tank and latched onto one of my fingers, drawing a little blood in the process. Luckily he was only 20 odd cm, unlike your pit bull. Depending on mood he would change from an almost speckled goldy rainbow colour when chilled, to a more dark green colour and faint black bars when agro with no fear of anything, staunch fish. He would patrol the tank, and you could clearly observe him using the driftwood as cover for ambush attacks. Enjoy.

Hi sorry to bump this but would I be able to keep a pair of dovii in a 180gal??? I can only get a 6footer max or I can get a wide ish one that's 6x3x2 but a 6x2x2 is probably easier??? Any thoughts....

Yeah 6ft would be cool for a Dovii :)
