AWESOME!

Great to see guys, Lets hope someone buys some of those rare cichlids and gets them breeding and also sells them here in WA instead of sending them East.

I really must get some tanks set up again.

Be nice for Perth to buy these fish in supportive numbers, so they don't need to be sent east........

Well I got my Aulonocara rostratum, Callochromis macrops and Neo caudopunctatus orange fins - fantastic quality and a good size so with any luck they'll be getting bred again in Perth soon.

Googled Cyprichromis kiriza black as I'd never heard about them before - wow!

Yep I've bred the Kiriza black,, but only ever got very limited fry,,,, not nearly as easy as normal lepto's to breed.
Definetely species only tank to breed, as they get put of breeding very easily.
Try to place them in the upper tanks so they feel safe above,, much like finicky wild caught frontosa are to be treated.
Very attractive with lighting placed correctly.

i got myself some of Lethrinops Red Caps. They are my first even cichlid fish so im pretty excited on seeing them grow. they have settled in ok, a bit shy though.

I have my peppies in the tank with them. Are they ok as tank mates?
