i dont like bare bottom tanks. i was thinking maybe there was some type of reason as i see it mostly with large fish.
i think the black sand has the most dramatic effect so thats what im going to try find. does anyone kno where to get it from and how much it cost?


most people have bare bottom because its easier to clean but some fear the larger gravel can be a choking hazard. when you have a $500 birchir may dont want to risk it.

depends...you could house mini tankbusters for quite a few years...depending on the width of your tank...

some might include:

- Datnoid ( which grow extremely slooooow )
- Bichirs... Senegals would be fine for a long time...

But to answer "how many tbs can u fit in a 4ftr?"....generally....bugger all...hehe

AHHHHH!!! i wished i could come over there. im from tasmania and everything over here sucks! there is afew ok things you get a hold of but mostly common stuff. nothing in the live of rays and aro's or bichirs! cant wait until i move. i wanted a couple of TSN's but was told i couldnt get them that was after i had a built an 8x2x2 so i got rid of it.
