has anyone got a favourit fish that they want but cant have? and maybe if you post it the local fish shops mite be able to get it or not

Theres none of this quality in Australia and if there was I simply couldnt afford it, so for now it's just a dream..

My dream fish would be Red Asian Arowana,Golden Back Asian Arowana and Red Tailed Golden Asian Arowana.

Boulengerochromis microlepsis Giant or Emperor Cichlid

The biggest cichlid.. reaching 75cm in an aquarium and 4-5kg. Comes from Lake Tanganyika and a pair is recommended to be housed in a minimum 500 gallon tank (8 x 3 x 3). They are carnivorous... and i would only assume they would feast on most species including the mighty frontosa.. and have been known to flat out attack large turtles that come close to their spawning grounds.

They are sh*t hot

yeh thats choice biggrin.gif i've seen clips of them throwing turtles around like they were nothing.

ar some of these fish pictured allowed tobe imported into australia it would be nice. those arrows are real beauties

These are available in OZ, I heard of some around 1yr ago, their price was around $200 5cm.

But people keep them qiuet... laugh.gif

And apprantly they are hard to breed.

emperor cichlids will be for sale in perth in less than 6 months as i know someone who has got some breeders
