Then it will more than likely be that they are not getting enough food. Try feeding more frequently in smaller amounts if time permits.

I havent been well lately so I missed all of the expert advice above
Forget all the of that crap.
Next time
Collect as soon as you see the eggs.
Keep the fry in a 20ltr tank with a sponge filter aged in the parents tank for 2 weeks.
Feed with bbs and a high protein food that has been developed for the aquaculture industry.
I'm not allowed to mention or sell it here.
There are lots of experts on this forum but very few of them are successfull, give me a call next time you see eggs.
Cheers Terry

Only issue is....I have no free tank to put them in T^T so i gathered up a few and put them in my plastic guppy frysaver with an air stone in the parent tank. I already found 3 tadpole-like fry (2 have disappeared since. they're so tiny i think they just swam out through what-ever available hole.) If it weren't for the fact that the only tankmates are goldspot pleco - i would've thought the fry they were something else.
may also put up the large divider once i'm sure the parents have finished their business
and conditions in which they spawned
tank size - 6x2x2
parents - at least 8inches (both the grey ones. my albino did nothing damn him).
female - 4 years old
male - 3 years old
water temp 28C
outside temp - hot -unsure. and now there's a thunderstorm now too so that might have something to do with it.
nitrates etc - unsure
water change - 10%every 1-2 days for the past few weeks (I've been paranoid since my parrot fish died of unknown causes recently)
I cant seem to hatch brine shrimp for the life of me. Forget that - I couldnt even grow sea monkeys <--which everyone tells me is impossible to NOT grow. (even with the pre-salt kits)
think the baby's can just live off just microworms?? The only livefood which i can seem to keep alive.
