3 weeks on and a lot have died off. im guessing a 30 percent survival rate on the micro worms. I need to find something that has a higher survive rate. what are grindal worms? are they as small as micro worms?

Grindal worms are 10 times the size of microworms, so they wouldn't be good for them now, but later on it would be perfect

Didnt the aquarium society recently do a talk on feeding live food to small fry?

I had a family member pass away so I wasn't about to feed them for 2 days. all the fry died unfortunately. Next batch should be coming soon. plus the success rate work micro worms were not high at all. so going to try the fish Flesh idea, make it up ams freeze into small squares and see how that goes

Thanks guys

just a quick update they have spawned again and just turned into wrigglers this morning. hopefully more luck this time. I have been doing some research on raising fry experiments and I found a article that found a lot higher survival rate with a diff type of food so going to give this a shot. will get some pics up tomorrow

long time before I have done a update on here as been busy on my own facebook page. I am successfully raising a batch now, one month old at 1.5cm plus, eating and growing strong. approx 100 on this batch. (this spawn im successful with had to be the smallest batch I have seen so far -,-)
Parents are about to spawn again. this will be there last spawn in this tank. currently getting a 8x3x2.5ft tank just for the parents to enjoy :) there going to love it. will be able to fit a lot bigger piece of flat rock for bigger spawns.
