Agree............was a good shop. I dropped in their every so often, as I did (and still do) with Paul`s shop. Way back when I was starting to get keen on keeping trop fish.

 

Sadly a number of business`s in general have fallen by the wayside. 

 

There was another shop on Main St, Balcatta, that went long ago too. That was an "oddity" shop.

 

Also was a fish, bird and nursery on Gnangara Rd, about half a K from Wanneroo Rd. That was always a good place for spending time at. When Bryan was still on a leash JackMack.............

Rookie.........years ago now, had (I think) bristlenose fry in with a salmon tail catfish. Thinking "well it`s a catfish too", so only eats algae. Dohh.no more fry!

The latter "conda". No one would be anything but shocked by another death by shark, but honestly why do (some) people jump up and down about nature! You have more chance of being killed by croc, spider, snake or a falling tree branch. Not to mention how many people die each year at the hands of another human. 29 people died from drownings last year in WA. I get VERY pissed off when pollies (Barnett) saying "I want fisheries to take stronger action against sharks". And fisheries etc, saying the shark hasn`t been located yet or identified. What tha! The way people talk, it`s as though sharks (apparently) only great whites, even though other shark attacks have been by other breeds (including bull sharks in the river) have licence plates or name tags. Still looking for "Bruce"! Their territory, our risk.

I would like to see her emigrate to Zimbabwe. She would be a good match with Mugabe.

Hello friend. I inspected the overhaul condition of the impeller, grommets etc and they appear fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Smeared vasoline on the grommets as well. It is definitely motor head noise, not an air block. Unless, somehow air is trapped in the head unit. I screwed out the primer cap on the top and water came out of the top. I think it will be far too noisy to persist with. Will have to try another, new impeller. Failing that, "tough titties" I guess. Cheers.
