Try plecoplanet go though some profileS and look for ones that you can breed in tanks (enless your going to breed them in a pond that is) normaly the ones that dont grow over 15cm you can breed in tank i think.
ps good luck i get first pick if you strike it lucky

Easiest,
buy proven breeding pair regardless of which catfish tongue.gif by trustful person.

However if you are patience enough to get fish mature then it will pay off.

it's all personal exprience but 397 which i bought few adult pairs is easiet for me but not 333
cheers.

L201 would have to go the list, well for me anyway
Young at 3.5-4cm sell for $75 and they have about 20 + in a spawn.
You could have 6 in a three foot tank and not be over crowded at all

The exact taxonomy of the "Common Bristlenose" is unknown; it's very likely to be a hybrid of multiple species. Many believe it to be closest to Ancistrus cirrhosus, however there are notable differences from wild caught specimens. The prefix "cf." should always be used before the species name as it is not 100% accurate - therefore when trying to describe the established captive bred fish, Ancistrus cf. cirrhosus should always be used.

Guys, the "common Bristlenose" we see in stores has no L number, as per my previous post. L032 picture.
