Laughing.. HARD.
I've seen ppl that are too far up themselves on these forums before, but never seen them collectively burnt like this.

Good on the guy for asking, it's everyone's right. If you don't like them asking, don't reply.

To those out to knock everyone they can for whatever.. is that really the purpose of these forums!?

hhahah again, get over yourselves

sexy dude settle down... wow...

if u were to get a small oscar at around 6cm, im sure it will be fine in a 3x18 for quite awhile( would u like to have a wager on the fact that it would only be housable for a few months as u say? ) ...and when the fish does get too big, then like i said, he can trade it... no big deal there!

What if he grows to love the fish then and so doesn't want to trade it....big fish stuck in a small tank! Too many O's get traded because their owners aren't very smart and buy one and think of it will be fine til they can afford a bigger tank. In my opinion, too many fish get traded in full stop because their owners weren't smart enough to research whether they would be able to provide a big enough home for them.

I am sure like everyone knows it is rude to ask someone for free stuff especially during the first few minutes of meeting them. We would just like to let one2one know that it isnt very polite to just join on the forums and ask for some free stuff.

Were just interested in one2one's age so we can get an idea of how much he needs to learn im sure. I got into the hobby at about 17 and even though im turning 19 now, i have learned a great deal.

Now just to convince us one2one, after obtaining your fish and setting up your tank, please send us some pictures and also perhaps some things you are saving up for or intend to buy/acquire.

I don't agree laugh.gif I don't think it's rude to ask for free stuff at all, bit like going into an electrical store or a car yard and asking for their best price, you never know unless you ask, if people say no they say no but there is no harm in asking.

His age is irrelevant, his age and how much he may or may not need to learn have nothing to do with each other. If he needs to learn loads, then it matters not if he is 18 or 88.... some 18 year olds I know, know more than some 40 year olds...age has nothing to do with knowledge levels.

And why does he have to convince us of anything? People who are happy to give him either fish or accessories will give them in good faith and because they choose too. Fish keeping is a learning curve and nearly everyone makes mistakes and has a few stumbles along the way, why must his be on display for everyone to see??

Yes I have some free fish - please refer to my free fish thread.

They are not plecos, but I am sure if you squash one in a vice and paint it brown you can get them to look like one. The bonus will be they wont fill your tank with long turds and force you to vacume the tank every day like plecos do!

Cheers

This thread seriously needs locking.

This forum IMO is about a shared passion - enough of the falling out people!
