Dissatisfied with co2 absorption rates I got a plastic tray turned it upside down jig sawed out some panels so it could get a maximum of a inch and a half co2 blanket in it for manageable buoyancy 'weighted  it down with plant pots etc . Put the co2 in the tray and I seem to get 100% absorption .A few aesthetic concerns I suppose , but effective .

There are reactors on the market operating under the same principal - Sera Flore is one example.
