Hi Everyone,

One of the animal lovers that I know has got a number of abandoned fish that she wants to pass to someone who can care for them. I'm a turtle person so am not in a position to house valuable fish. From the photo's I've been sent, some are Cichlids. The fish are in Ridgewood (edit) WA and you need to liase with the real estate agent to pick them up. Please PM me for his contact details.

Thanks

Grimace

PCS have a fish rehoming/rescue service
http://www.perthcich...showtopic=23162
I am happy to help with this, but I don't live anywhere near Ridgewood
A committee member will see this post soon and will get in contact with you
Other options are dropping the fish off at a few shops that are also part of the rescue/rehoming service, although it's a good idea to phone the stores first:

If you have no joy rehoming them let me know, and I'll try my very best to get up that way. A lot of good people on the forum, so I'm sure someone will be in contact with you that lives a bit closer
:)

Thanks, I saw that but the thread was not active. All of those stores are a long way from where the fish are, as do I. I'm a turtle person, so those fish would be a tasty snack for my turtles in no time, thus I'm not interested in them.

What fish need rehoming? I live in Clarkson, so just round the corner. I can probably house some in the fish room short term till we can sort out a more permanent relocation. You can send me a pm to organise if that's easier? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Give me the details and I will pick up all of the fish. After I have checked their ID and health I will pass them on to LFS sponsors and PCS members at no charge.

that sounds like a good place for abandoned or unwanted fish... much better than dumping them into a waterway....

The estate agent phoned me this morning he thought all of the fish had been picked up last week but yesterday he found a large tank with 15 fish in it in the garage, so I went up there and it turned out that it was a salt water tank. I don't keep salt water so I dropped them off at a sponsor shop.

There are no more live animals at the address.
