There were some at auction last night but think they were bamboo or something. Someone might know more.

Avoid them charcoal bamboo caves, so many people have probs with them leaching something that kills catties....

Any reported symptoms out of interest?

I’m just a little stuck on what might leach (oils in other wood I’ve seen cause twitching), wondering if fumigated or something.

I lost a whole colony of L201s after getting two of those caves from an auction, i even soaked it in hot water first.

No idea of symptoms as they were perfect little dead fish, no signs of anything obvious anyway.

Thanks for the share! Sad news on the loss back then.

Just out of interest I’ve asked my father if quarantine would do anything special or how they view charcoal.
