Hi guys

Just got a new shipment of LED lights in - IMO far better features and value than the Nemolights we also stock

Not much more expensive than the Nemolights for around 60% more output, 3 channels instead of 2 and most importantly full external controller with LCD display (the main flaw of the Nemolights)

See the webpage for more information: http://www.micmol.com/aquaair.html

Cheers

Enough punch for a 2.5 deep tank?

Depends on what you are keeping in it (especially marine wise) but for most freshwater purposes they'd be plenty

Can you rest this new light on top of cover glass rather than use a bracket?

And will it be ok under a hood?

One of your guys said don't use a hood with the nemo lights.

Best to use the brackets to allow for airflow/passive cooling. The Nemos (and these) should be OK under a hood as long as the tank has good cover glass and the hood has adequate ventilation. If anything these should be better than the Nemos under a hood in that situation as the controller is external to the light itself so can be outside of the hood, with the LEd part under the hood. None of these types of lights should be used in a fully enclosed hood though

Bought a Micmol Aqua Air 300 (Marine) at Vebas for my 55L nano marine tank and I'm very pleased with the light. Great value for money.

Saw these Micmol lights at Vebas yesterday. They are fantastic. New models are landing soon. Go check them out!

Any news on the new models? Any different to the first ones that Vebas landed?
