How To Plumb A 4X2X2 With Stump

Does anyone have any ideas how i could setup a stump to a 4x2x2 without having to drill anything, any photos would help cheers

2 pumps, one in the tank and one in the sump

2 pumps will not work at all and is extremely dangerous. Even if you get two pumps with the same rating (litres per hour) there will likely be some variation even if it's only a couple litres, plus factoring in head height of the one in the sump. Also if one pump fails you will end up with a flooded house. Definitely don't do this.

Drilling your tank is the best option. I think there are aftermarket overflows available that don't require drilling but I have never used one.

I agree drilling is definitely the best option and if you're not confident speak to someone from a sponsor store they might be able to come out to do it for a prive

chocky cheers for video might give that a go, only reason why i dont want to drill tank is its brand new 4x2x2 and not 100% sure what direction im going to go with it yet

Unless you're going to house a snake in it some time soon I'd drill the tank (3 holes - pump/drain/quick water change).

I used a modified s bend for 5 years without spilling a drop in a 8x2x2.

They are a little noisy though, you need to add marbles or something to stop the water swirling as the suction causes a gargling sound.
