Hi all,

New to the forum but not to fish, I currently keep Malawi cichlids, senegal bichirs, a few guppies and a tonne of plecos & bristlenose.

I have kept fish on and off for quite some time and it is something I really enjoy. Trying to breed and raise some of the " harder to breed" species is my passion and something I try to learn more about every day.

hoping to meet a few likeminded people on the forum.

cheers!
Megan

Welcome Megan :)

The usual custom is to whack up some pictures of your tanks and fish :)

Welcome to the forums. Enjoy the fish and don't feed the trolls :)

That said, you might also consider coming to our meetings.

Which Malawis are you keeping, and are your bichirs breeding?

Thanks for the welcome guys,

as for what malawis I keep - mostly common ones you can find in the LFS, I have a few tangs in there too. My favourites are most certainly the flavus.
Mostly common plecos, my favourites being the L333, also have a huge albino sailfin and he is pretty cool
The bichirs have spawned a few times however we have only just decided to try to raise some fry recently as previous times have been very inconvenient. If im succesful in raising fry they will only go to a few select people at this stage.

Will certainly aim to get some photos, all the fish are in holding tanks at this time as we are in the process of moving.
