A quick sneak peak of some of the inhabitants. Been in there overnight and already colouring up nicely.

Not too hard Anka. Worst part was having to trim the height so it would fit under the bracing, ended up taking to it with a jigsaw!

Looked for contact points (whilst looking through the glass) where it made contact with the rear panel, marked with an X, took background down and placed large dobs of silicone over the X's and then replaced background. Siliconed most of the top where it makes contact with the brace. Wedged in poles and used clamps in various areas. Was pretty strong after an hr or 2.

Looking good.

Is that a rock attached to the top of the tank?

Sure is. Checkout the 3rd pic at the top of this thread. I'm trying to create a shaded cave area. Might even add a different colour light for that corner of the tank.

Looks so good Daz! I think that cat is questioning your choice of fish though. Those ones are a bit of an easy meals compared to the giant gourami....

2 types. Kigoma jumbos and utinta. Unlikely that any fry will survive in this tank.

Cheers Nick. Time and patience has helped. Normally I have water in them before going to this much effort.
