Thanks guys and  yes i am still  in Rocko. At the rate this Jack is knocking off the barbs it would'nt be cost affective to buy from a lfs. I was hopeing that someone mite of had fish spawn recently and had a heap of unwanted juvies left over. Going to put him on pellets when he gets a bit bigger but as it stands he loves the chase...

At 10cm id be getting him onto high protein pellets sooner the better for you and the fish... But to each, their own.

Yeah i here ya but i only had him a week and want to get him through a few more weeks on what food he used too. He wont touch pellets or worms and dont want to have uneaten food in the tank, but he will attack anything moving fast. And size is more like 7cm than 10.

Gambusia are the way to go, do everyone a favour. Saw millions at bells rapids the other week, lots of dead black bream too. Gambusia were isolated in small pools.

They dont smell great the ol mulies but they are a cheap feed. I prefer paying extra for frozen prawns from the supermarket. I have one fish that is stupidly fussy so I stuff his prawns full of predator sticks.
