Hi,

I have a small problem... I have bought some bulkheads from Bunnings, installed them no worries, but am thinking I may be a few pieces short still to enable me to connect my Eheim cannister hose and the hard plastic accessories through it. I am trying to connect these two parts (see pictures, hope they work) to the hoses but through the bulkheads, I doubt they would go through the bulkheads as they are hard plastic and not very bendy, lol? The hoses fit pretty snugly into the bulkheads, but wouldn't be completely sealed.

So, just to clarify, the only part I havwe bought so far are the bulkheads that have holes to fit the eheim hoses.

Would appreciate some help smile.gif)

Brendon, typically you would have a black bit that you connect the hose to, it has the hose connector on one end and thread on the other, so it can be screwed onto the bulkhead. On the other side you would then either connect a screw in ventury, or you can do the same thing but in reverse and then attach the spray bar to the hose inside the tank.

You generally don't put hoses or bars through the bulkhead as you won't get a proper seal.

That's sort of what I was thinking, but then the supplied pieces end up being "wrong" ie I don't need the "U" parts (the parts that normally go over the top of the tank and connect to the hose) of the hard plastic. I gather then these parts become useless?

If you get stuck and are in the area come past Aquotix and we should have all the pieces you need. We have various tanks plumbed up in-store this way and also have a massive range of fittings and flanges/bulkheads.
