Would love an eel if I had another tank.. Would look good in my mums planted hehe

Couldnt figure out why my sooty was being really really shy lately. Might be something to do with the heater in his tank not working :/

My sooty is an angry bugger. 5cm of hand biting bad ass.
I like the mangrove Jack style blue stripe under the eye.

The stripe popped up on my sooty yesterday, thought it looked cool too. Mine is angry as well, didn't expect it at his size either. Was originally in a 3ft with some 5cm angelfish but he killed one of them, and that's how he ended up with a faulty heater. Now I'm watching out for evil white dots  :angry:

How many bullrout have you got?
I've kinda cut down a little bit. Just got the eel, bullrout, N. ater, N. hyrtlii, T. jaculatrix and M. trifasciata

4 bullrouts haha 2x 6cm ish and 2x 15cm ish ive had quite few natives buying and selling them a fair bit, had few scats that would pick on bullrout then the eel would pick on the scats seen a few flounder fish around wouldnt mind getting one of them

Who is the supplier you are referring to?

By the way, you should speak to Juls if you're interested in salamanderfish, I heard they're not exactly an easy fish to keep.
