I've had a few people ask me about wild electric yellows in Malawi, so I've pulled out some pictures of fish in the fish house at the exporter Stuart M Grant in Malawi in September, 2014. The Labidochromis caeruleus in these two tanks were collected at Lion's Cove.

 

We found L. caeruleus while diving at Lion's Cove, a little further north at Mbowe Island, and a single fish at Nkata Bay. The yellows at Mbowe Island are even brighter and more vibrant than the Lion's Cove fish.

I'm not the full bottle on cichlids, so can I ask why some of them are white and not yellow?
Is it a colour variant of the EY's because of the location?

Great pics do you guys still have those do you know of anyone in Perth with them I would like to get the whites but can't find any if so what price thanks.
