. A little background story to start, I live in remote WA and have dreamt of a large SA set up for a good 5+ years, due to many reasons been putting it off.
Well not any more, finally pulled the pin on a 6x2x2 black silicone from aqotix in Perth, and got a removalist to transport it some 1500km north. Needless to say I was stressing until it arrived safe and sound. In the mean time I set to building (part of) my stand and collecting some decor and organising some equipment. I will try and update this thread as the tank progress happens. For now il add some photos, the best part hope you enjoy

My RO unit turned up as well so have been getting that set up and slowly filling the tank to leak test it.
Have also continued on with the stand and hood, working out sizes and door placement ect. The lights I have are reasonably heavy so iv built the hood to hold them.
Still left to finish glueing up the doors and fixing all the timber to the cabinet and hood

Been pretty busy trying to get this thing finished, finished fixing all the cabinet together, doors aligned cabinet lined and hinged. Still to get some struts of some sort to help with the lid. In hindsight I should have made the lid in two instead of one as it has abit of weight to it. I have sealed all the timber. Oh also fitted lights into the hood, with a door on the side of the hood to access the controls on the light. Also found some PFS and have washed and placed in the tank. Ah man lots done and still lots to do. Oh also got a couple 220lt drums for the RO just need to get a pump to make the water changes easier. Il stop rambling and add some pics

So we finally got to set up the main tank and added the plants and fish yesterday afternoon and they seem to love it.
The tank is still clearing up, when it does I will get some decent pics with the camera instead of my phone. DSC_2073.JPG 58.9KB 17 downloads
