If this is all serious, be scary to think maybe p bass will become completly noxious and illegal to keep then.

Alex, sorry mate.
Not in a good mood.
I accept your apology. The name calling is a bit much at times, but not the worst I have been called
Apologies to yourself if I have upset you.
I just call things as I see them. I've been around the fish scene and this site for a long time. I've seen countless come and go and endless garbage. If people don't like it, well I say tough for the most part.
These feral fish threads really get under my skin more than anything else. Like I said this hobby is under enough stress without this sort of junk. The day will come when all we can keep is endemic species to an area.... if we are lucky.
edit - spelling

They are worth a lot, and to have them feral, we can all go down and catch ourselves some giant cichlids, and do some good at the same time.
When peacock bass are young, they have very week immune systems and are prone to disease.
So very low temps would surely kill them with weekened immune systems. But if there is a measure of salt and some rapid adaptation, could it be possible ?. Still very hard to believe. But then again, micro-climates do exist.

If it was legit you would post up your pics but there is no way you could keep 30 pbass in that pond and your "tank shot" could have been taken from any website and cropped to suit.
Matt people weren't being rude, they were just cutting straight to the chase. Any legit tank buster keeper would know that this is bs from the start and were simply stating that fact. Like I said I will eat as much humble pie as I'm given but looks like ill be sticking to meat pies and beer instead
