After seeing the latest "tang" trend i didnt jump on the bandwagon and still love my malawis !

Ive a few excess shots after being busy snapping away for the June photo comp, so here they are smile.gif

Acei ngara (These i got as juvies from Den 4 years ago and still love them)

Electric yellow male (one of the hobbys mainstays and still a great fish)

Copadichromis trewavasae (this is a juvie male that is getting re-homed to a friends fish room next weekend) The adults of these are infurating to get a decent pic of as they are a spectaular malawi in breeding dress !

Photos do those guys no justice !

Aquatic_Dreams favourite fish the albino peacock ( originally got these as albino eureka reds but unfortunately dont look like the pure strain id hoped for so didnt label them wrong) Also fondly known as eye burners (Az again) for being so bright !

Copadichromis mbenji (I think although i saw a copadichromis sp in aquotix today which the name eludes me and seemed to look the same as well ! Any help here Krystal ? smile.gif )

Thats it for now !

Cheers
Craig

That's a shame.. sad.gif
You should try to get more of them & breed. I like how their dorsal fin is similar to Red Capuz... biggrin.gif

i much prefer malawis over those stupid shellies LOL. You've got a great collection there and all fish look very healthy and happy!

The first one pictured has an interesting body shape. Is that the female in the 3rd picture or is it same fish and different lighting?

They are around 12cm,

They still breed but are excellent at hiding mouthfuls plus they swallow more often than not.

Need a malawi revival to combat teh Tangs smile.gifsmile.gif

Hi Phil,

Sorry mate i no longer have the chewere, I had to scale back how many malawi tanks i was running so i could expand on my cats.

There is so many nice malawis out there, one day i hope to go back to more malawi tanks but room is limited for me.

Ive kept my core favourites and have the odd few that i play with then move on and get different fish in to breed, which is good for building up my bap.

Cheers
Craig
