Hi,
I bought a little Murray Cod. It was in a very sorry state.
Looking better now except for this:

Anyone know?

Sorry mate personally didn’t see this using Tapatalk.
Hope the cods well.
Is it possible that its some sort of fin injury, been broken or squashed etc? To me it looks like either injured or scarred tissue between the fin rays?

Not having a go at people... more a reflection of how quiet the forum has become.
Honestly I dunno. There’s been no change. Other fins look good which probably rules out environmental issues.
Sort of a weird place to be injured.
Still got me stumped.

I was assuming he doesn’t rub or flash on it? Didn’t look right imo for parasites and assuming just one fin (albeit in limited experience), sometimes I work back the other way and cross off what I think it isn’t.
