I've been out of the hobby for about 5 years and have just started up a new tank. I had planned to keep some blue Rams and some type of geophagus with some other pretty ornamental fish but I just couldn't help myself as the love for oddballs and predators overtook and when I saw this guy up for sale I had to jump on it.
Here's some pics of the new addition...

Welcome back mate, sadly all the gorgeous fish you've kept over the years have dried up.
Still a few oddballs floating around, just got hunt for them.
Nothing like it was 5+ years ago.
Either way, great addition to start it back up.
What size tank you got? And you planning adding some other big boys? Feeing an Aussie theme monster tank

Sadly don't really have room for large tank or figured out a good spot to put one...
Mainly got a small neat tank to keep me satisfied for now,
Although I'm still able to grow something out and pass it on though lol.
If i found a good spot for a monster tank it'll definitely be something native either a mangrove jack or Murray cod.
