Just looking in to them now.
How much work are they to maintain?

I know absolutely nothing about marine and thought these would probably be the way to go in my case.

Help

Quick question
The tank was running when I picked it up, I expected it to be empty.
I mov in 2 weeks - do I take advantage of this setup or star again from scratch.
It's empty now to be moved

My suggestion is to start fresh you never what the previous owner  was doing ,that way you will know what is going on from the start

If it was already running, I would recommend getting new activate carbon too ( i read the specs).

Get a spare bubbler thing too for the scimmer you have no idea how well it is or not too.

Can't figure out how to upload photos from my phone to the forum properly so dunno how long until you guys get some photos.

Found couple free snails on the love rock, a huge clam / shell thingy and this little bright blue / green miniature crayfish prawn thing
