They are native Australian fish - so not hard to come by.

I've seen them for sale at Seaview and at Pet Magic.

There are only about $8-$15 each and colour up quickly with right conditions.

They are so cute because they forage around the tank, looking for food and getting up to mischief.

The females are pretty uninteresting, but I put them in with the males anyway because I heard you would get a better colour on the males by doing that.

They are gorgeous! Love your gudgeon, really beautiful colours. Empires are great, but to be honest the eyes always freak me out. They look kind of dead, you know? Does anyone else feel like that or is it just me?

Haha. I think frontosa might be a lost cause as fair as the "good looks" go Riggs.

They are like the bovine of the fish world. Only one good place for them..... The frying pan
