Some very nice quality labidochromis sp hongi I bought from Az at midland spawned today in my 2 foot cube...I have always kept male display fish...this is the first spawn I have had since re-joining the hobby 5 years ago...my previous spawn was "haplochromis burtoni"...the name showing the era...1985!! Ha! LOL

iv been feeding frozen brine and blood worm.

dunno what else i should do.

Nothing exciting for most of you with non bead-n-butter fish tongue.gif
I've got yellow labs and BN's. About 40 BN spawned 1-2weeks ago, and male BN is already looking after two clutches of eggs in his cave as of last Friday.
Waiting for new Eheim filter to come to set up the second tank, then babies can go in there.

Red whippies having a three-way in a nice granite cave. Pretty hard to see the eggs.

i found a venustus dead, trapped under a rock which had fallen. When i pulled him out i found 4 electric yellow babies about 1.5cm in length hiding under a rock. This is in a tank full of malawi's about 10cm or bigger. HA he must have been trying to eat the babies and knocked the rock above him.....greed leads to death

Nothing overly special over the last week or so; lombardoi, lions cove and ey's.

Rocks are infested with lots of tiny fry in my display tank. Might be time for a L elongatus to make its way to my tank.
