Hello
Looking to move on my 2x Electric yellows. Got them from mac as wee little guys and now they are quickly outgrowing the tank and they are greedy! They keep eating all the food hence they look kinda pudgey.

I'm not sure how much these should go for in a private sale so let me know.

Or else I'm open to trade for a bag of sandy substrate and/or hardscape.

Excuse the algae on the tank =_=

The PH and KH requirements of the fish are different. Tetra's require parameters around 22-27 degree water (temperature)  KH 4-8 (Carbonate hardness) and PH 6.6-7 (how acidic/basic the water is).
Whereas electric yellow cichlids require 22-28 degree water, KH 10-15 and PH 7.8 to 8.5

If you need some help creating suitable conditions feel free to PM me, create a post here or head down to your local fish shop :)

Oh right

Well... that could have been why my neon tetras slowly died off one by one.

I have other dead tetra behind the tank cos it got chased and jumped out (I'm guessing). I haven't cleaned that up yet...

I'll be moving the red caps to their own tank shortly and the electric yellows have found a new home :)

I did have half eaten neon tetras floating around before...
The black phantom tetras seem ok though
