Sold my '02 WRX not long ago... farewell sweet ride sad.gif

Been driving a little BMW hatch which is sooooo boring. Had to give that back to my boss today and got a loan car (vomits) from the dealer -

(similar to this)

Funny thing is I've convinced the girlfriend that I've actually bought it coz it's "cheap, so roomy, family friendly, we can go bush bashing, fuel efficient??, blah, blah, blah". She can't believe I've gone from a sports car to this. But she likes "being high up from the road" she says Rofl_3f.gif

I'll surprise her in about a weeks time when the actual car I'm buying arrives..... wink.gif Who wants to guess what it is?? (excludes people who already know) Ask questions like country of origin, size of motor etc, see how long it takes u to figure it out.

I'll give this guessing game a shot. Is it an import or Asian made?

Is it Korean? Is the car Australian made but branded with another badge? At what RPM does the engine redline? Is the engine a flat piston configuration? Is the transmission CVT? If it is another automatic, how many gears does it have? What price range am I looking at (20k, 30k-40k, 50k+?).

Yes I'm not asking direct, obvious questions either (like naming brands). Make this a little more interesting wink.gif

Wow that's a lot of questions! lol

Assembled in Japan AFAIK.
Brand is the same regardless of country.
9K redline!
Nopes to flat piston.
Nopes to CVT (tried this in a Mitsu Lancer I think, wasn't overly impressed)
Price new is approx. $60,000 RRP

Nopes to Holden Cruze Az wink.gif

You mentioned the new price, therefore I'm assuming you have bought this car second hand? What year is it? If it is a new car, has the model been recently updated or has it been on the market for a while?

Are the rear doors "hidden" and opened from the inside? Is it a wankel engine?

He's driving the series 1. Rims, headlights n tailights are a bit nicer now, diff gear ratios for better accel., side gills are gone etc.

Another JC fan I see? laugh.gif His arrogant style humour is quite amusing. It was evident I was aiming towards Honda at first, but the year, redline, and amount of seats really narrowed it down!
