I have an electric yellow boy that's slightly skinny from the rest of its yellow mates that are from the same batch. I've noticed white poo and a sunken tummy, though it eats well, but hasn't expressed interest in breeding, despite of the presence of a very ready and able female. Perhaps it has worms? Any ideas?
Thanks
Sick Yellow

Could be worms or flagellates, either way some form of irritation in the lower digestive system, this causes the white poo.
If you are able to see small red threads protruding from the rectum of the fish, then definitely try Levamisole first (treat once and then again 7 days later). Secondly I would treat all the fish with DMZ (or metro). You can treat with this in between the Levamisole treatments.
After two weeks, if the fish still shows problems, then let me know.
Keep an eye out for secondary bacterial ulcer-like infections during this time. Let me know if this occurs.
