Hey guys, I wanted to know who would be interested in buying some peat moss on the next meeting night, I might be able to get this guy who has it to come if there is enough interest, he uses it for discus and it helps buffer low ph water and keep it stable, it is $10 a bag is about 1.5 litres (volume) A handful is enough for 2 to 4 weeks in a 150l tank. This peat not only makes the water stable, it lowers ph, adds tannins to the water, and helps induce some soft water fish like discus, apistos and L numbers to breed. If you want to buy a bag please say 'I' and how many bags below so I can tell him and if there is enough people he will come.
I, 1 Bag

What kind of peat is it? Are you sure it's suitable for aquarium use?

Looks okay. If it's legit, put a review up of what it's like
The first person to breed discus in WA was earlier than the 1980's though.
