Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if there is such as a small, mid range pleco? (Cost wise)

I like the L046 and L200 but they are just too expensive for me. I already have L168s and peppermints. I am going to set up a 3 foot tank for breeding some kind of pleco.

Are there any plecos in the middle like (150-400?)ish

Cheers

Maybe L134 prob a little cheaper than $150
Or some L007 around $350 each quite nice fish. I got some L270 they are nice and were quite cheap under $100 each
Or even L202s I see some advertised on here for a good price..

Thanks Shane...

Really can't decide whether to grow out a small group of Juvie L134s or bite the bullet and save up for a pair of L200s...

lets be realistic here... unless you get extremely lucky that someone decides to sell a genuine pair of L200's and you have 3-5k handy to buy them - then run the gauntlet of getting them here to WA as i dont know of many if any pairs in WA that someone will be likely to part with... best chance is over east....

female L200's are very rare - so likely you'll get some clown selling you 2 males anyway :)

midrange plecs - not many in 150-400 price range... only 007's that are available... 300 each - might even get 4 for 1k :) at 3-4cm to grow up....

might get some L260's for $400 each at 3cm if your really lucky again to find some.... :)

I read they get up to 25cm.

Although I am far from an expert on plecos
