What Native Fish Do You Keep?

Just wondering what native fish people are keeping. It would also be good to know whats for sale around the place as it comes up.

At The moment ive got:
Murray cod
Tandanus catfish
Barcoo grunter
Barramundi
Archerfish
Mangrove jack
Desert gobies
Sleepy cod

Empire gudgeons

Pacific Blue Eyes

thinking about selling quite a few of them.

Im Looking for
Sooty grunter
Bullrout

Have kept
Silver perch
Marron
Yabbies
Coal grunter
Silver scats
Rainbows

I have kept silver perch, cool fish but mine where quite skittish

I found that they can be like that while they're young, once mine matured a bit they weren't as shy.

 

I had them in a community tank though..

Im surprised how many people have kept silvers. Mine were quite skittish too. They are quite plain as individuals but look good as a larger group.

Rainbow trout are native to North America.

Id love to grab a young butis this year.

I Just ordered some Pacific Blue Eyes and some Empire Gudgeons. Should be here Wednesday. Cant wait!

Currently have

Female Melanotaenia duboulayi " Kangaroo Creek"  ( I should track down some males)

Male Melanotaenia splendida "Marmoss Creek" ( Good luck tracking down females)

Toxotes chatareus

Empire Gudgeons

Mogurnda adsperse

Mogurnda larapintae

 

Maybe more but that's what immediately comes to mind.

I have various rainbow fish (some Aus others NG)

Also got native MTW's feeders

Where did you get the Mogurnda larapintae from, i don't think I've seen them around... Really nice little fish though.

Id like to grab a couple Mogurnda adsperse too but haven't seen them about in a while either.
