Was at Vebas the other day and cracked out the old S95... Pics not the best as it's not awesome lighting, but you get the idea:)

The Thorichthys ellioti are the typical Au bloodline and should be culled, the rest of the fish are beautiful.

I have been asked to show where the deformity is in these fish. The best way is with pics, the dotted line on Kleinz's pic shows where the problem is, the other pic taken from the net http://www.aqua-magi...unity-tank.html shows what they should look like.

 

This is not a shot at Vebas in my opinion Vebas is the no 1 LFS in Perth, If anybody sees a fish that is deformed it should be pointed out to the owner so that we can keep our bloodlines true to form. The fish offered in Au are the best that the breeders here can produce, the bad ones are culled. The breeders claim that this is acceptable because we cannot import fresh blood. I disagree they are sub standard and should be destroyed.
